North Shore Yacht Club's
"Summer's End" Regatta
(formerly the Mayor's Cup)
Saturday Sept 3rd, 2011

Kick off the Labor Day weekend with racing at Highland Park. This year's Labor Day Regatta will include Sunfish, Buccaneers and the addition of a Laser fleet.

Where: Park Avenue Beach in Highland Park, IL.... map of Higland Park and Park Ave Beach

We are going to start early to have as many races as possible - so don't be late.

Fleets: Sunfish, Buccaneers, Lasers

Schedule of events:

8:00 - 9:00 Registration
9:30            Skippers Meeting
   9:45            Shore Gun
10:15            First Warning ( the 5 minute gun )

- 1 or 2 races before lunch
- Lunch on shore
  - Return to water for as many races as we can fit in depending on weather
  - No Race will start after 4:00 PM
  - Refreshments and trophies
  - Optional Dinner party afterwards: $10.00 per person

Fee:
$20 per Sunfish
$20 per Laser
$30 per Buccaneer

Area Hotels:... through Mapquest
